2008 KaleidoSoul Collage Desk Calendars

Counting the Days with Color, Creativity, and Inspiration

Last year I ordered one of artist Anne Marie Bennett's (KaleidoSoul) Soul Collage desk calendars and gifted it to my sister who had never seen anything like it, but absolutely loved it. On seeing my sister's nifty new calendar, my mother exclaimed how wonderful it was and wanted to know where I found it because she wanted one too.

Well, this year I'm going to surprise my mom by sending her one of Anne Marie's new 2008 KaleidoSoul "Soul Colors" desktop calendars because they are just so beautiful and the perfect size to sit on top of her computer desk. Here's the description Anne Marie sent me for her new 2008 collage calendar:

"Each month features a full-color, vibrant mixed media collage by Anne Marie Bennett, along with a quotation carefully chosen to lift your spirits and remind you of your own soul's true colors. The calendar is spiral bound this year, so it's easier to manage, and is printed on heavy, glossy cardstock, similar to (and the same size as) postcards.

There's something so joyful in the artistic-soul expression of each of these calendar pages, and being personally acquainted with the artist (Anne writes the inspiring Inner Voices of Creativity column for the Creativity Portal), is such a treat. I like being able to support another artist's work when I can, and a gift like this is so unique and more personal than buying a mass-produced item off a store shelf.

Thank you, Anne Marie, for sharing your creative expression with the world through your mixed media collage art calendars. Believe me, there won't be a day next year when I don't think about them because guess what? I ordered one for me too! •
